Hey ladies! I'm so sorry I have neglected to give you any info about book club this month until now! I can blame the holiday busyness, right? :) So I am really excited to host book club this month!! It will be Thursday, January 29th at 7:30pm and the book we are reading is called, "The Tutor's Daughter" by Julie Klassen. I really enjoyed it and hopefully we'll have some fun topics to discuss. I am a Regency Era romance junkie, so I thought this was a good representation of the genre without being too sappy. Of course it's mostly predictable (there's just something about that Pride and Prejudice plot we can't seem to get tired of) :) but it's a pretty light read--romance with a bit of mystery involved. I hope you will all enjoy it and that you can make it on the 29th! Thanks Ladies :)

Hi everyone! Sorry I missed book club Thursday! I hope you all had a great time. Not sure on the date for November's book club but here is the book: The Art of Hearing Heartbeats by Jan-Phillipp Sendker. I've started it and it is great so far. It has excellent reviews on Amazon. Hope you enjoy it. I will post a date ASAP.

October book club will be at my house! We are reading Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier. Rebecca was written in 1938 but is still a great read!

Hey all ladies!!  I have the book for September and we are going to do To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee.  I know a lot of you have already read it but please read it again! 

This is one of my favorite books.  It is a story of racism and prejudice seen through the eyes of a little girl as she watches her attorney father fight for justice.  It is the only book Harper Lee ever wrote.  When asked why she never wrote another she claimed she had said everything she wanted to say.  

I will probably have book club on the evening of the 25th.  Please let me know if you absolutely want me to change it and I can work something out.

The August book is "The Rent Collector" by Camron Wright.

I read this book a few months ago and loved it. Here's the synopsis:

Hey there!

Thanks to Courtney for a lovely evening and now I am sure you are all so anxious to know what the next book is!  I am hosting in May and we are going to read "The False Prince" by Jennifer Nielsen.  This is a book that reminds me why I love to read!  It has great characters, an exciting premise and draws you in to a whole other world!  Trust me, it will not disappoint.  It's young adult and the first of a trilogy.  All three books have been released,  so you don't have to wait to see how it all ends.  I have to wait on picking a date, but happy reading!!!
